Breathing
Paying attention on breathing is one the best ways to calm your mind, when the mind is relaxed, it becomes easy for mind to concentrate on any subject or any object. Simply by sitting in comfortable position and being aware of inhalation and exhalation will relax our mind and body. Do it for 15 minutes and do it for 22 days. breathing awareness is so powerful that it not only relaxes the mind but also alerts the mind. Breathing awareness brings mental thoughts clarity and it helps you sleep better, it reduces your stress level and also improves digestion. Gradually you will notice that mind is relaxed, thoughts are calm. You become capable to think right. The goal you have decided becomes clearer and more specific. You become more creative than ever. You gradually rely on your own intuition and thoughts. It is because you have gut feeling.
Tratak or Candle Meditation
Sitting in a comfortable position and looking at candle flame without blinking your eyes. This can be practiced 10 minutes a day. This is also done other way around where a black dot is marked on a white paper. The paper is sticked at eye level. Now Gazing at black dot for 5 minutes a day and doing it for a month. It will help a lot to increase concentration. Tratak is one of the best ways to cultivate determination. It is so powerful that if someone practices Tratak for long time, he will be get psychic powers. Daily Tratak practice increases brain functionalities, improves eyesight, relives from mental sickness and overcomes insomnia problems.
Chanting
Chanting any Mantra also increases the concentration however our sometime it is monotonous to practice chanting. So, to overcome this inhale exhale deep for 10 minutes at least and chanting Aum or any other Hymn (mantra) that we are dedicated to. The level of Concentration increases when We continuously chant for 22 days for 22 minutes.
Meditation
There are many types of meditation techniques around, however one of the easy methods is to be the observer. Just observing the thoughts, sensations, surroundings, sounds. Means observing your mind and body. It means no reaction to anything, no good no bad, just being neutral. So, sitting in comfortable position or you can also sit on chair if you cannot sit on the floor. Close your eyes. Then Observe everything that you hear, smell and feel. Practicing tis on certain period of time will calm our mind and relaxed mind is focused mind. Meditation Enhances self-awareness, Lengthens attention span, cultivates compassion, reduces stress and it also promotes mental and emotional health. Meditation increases patience, tolerance, it also builds skill to manage stress.
positive affirmations
Positive affirms defined as lines that affirm any goal or desire to be true. In other words positive affirmations are statements or phrases used to challenge and remove negative energy and negative thoughts. Examples of positive affirmations are : My mind is concentrated whenever I want. When I start any task my mind becomes fully focused and leaves unwanted thoughts behind. Writing positive affirmations on daily basis and repeating them daily helps us to concentrate the mind.
